The World Series of Poker has removed all advertising and logos for its previous sponsor Draftkings.
According To Caesars Entertainment, the company that owns and operates the World Series, the removal came at the request of Draftkings themselves.
Draftkings and other Daily Fantasy Sports sites were ordered to cease operations earlier this month in Nevada, with that state’s gaming board stating flatly that DFS is gambling and the a license would be required for them to operate further in the state. Draftkings and other sites have since complied withe order.
The Final Table of the WSOP is set to resume play on November 8th.
