Kicking Off a New Feature

Hey TexasHoldEm Members

It’s Chandler here, and I’d like to let you all know about the launch of a brand new feature on TexasHoldem.com.  It’s a unique way to win some extra cash that’s like nothing we’ve done before! We know how much you all like football, so we’re giving you a chance to showcase your knowledge. This week we’re introducing Weekly Game Picks, where you choose your favorite teams to win this week’s games, and the top pick for each week wins an awesome cash prize.

It’s easy and free to participate. Just click on the Weekly Game Picks link from the drop down menu in the Main Game Lobby. Then click on your favorite for each matchup and enter an estimate for the total points of the Monday night game – this will be the tiebreaker! Whoever has the most accurate picks will receive a $100 Bonus! Guess all the correct results and you’ll win a $1,000 Jackpot! There will also be a prize for whoever has the most correct picks at the end of the season.

TexasHoldEm is always looking for new ways to keep our members entertained and in the money, and we’re excited to add more sports options in the future. As always, if you have any questions you can message myself or Sarah through email or Live Chat. Thanks and have a great day!

See you at the game!

    Hey Nono,

Thank you for your feedback. As you probably know there are some inherent limitations with subscription-model poker. It’s difficult to directly incentivize good play through a monthly membership the way that directly contributed monetary consideration (a buy-in) can. That being said, you make some very good points, and we are certainly working on a number of features to improve the poker experience. Putting in antes and developing a more robust points economy is something we feel will help, as well as making adjustments to structure and prize pools down the road. It’s certainly a work in progress, but we’re in it for the long haul. Thank you for interest and ideas and we hope to meet (and exceed!) your expectations in the near future.

    Regards,
    Chandler Bator
