English Village Pub Hosts The Nuts Poker Final

The cards will be on the table all day this Saturday on 19th April when the Punch Bowl Village Inn hosts the regional "Nuts" poker finals.

For the second time this year this quaint English pub has played host to a regional poker final.

The 300 year old Punch Bowl pub is a traditional, family run inn, nestled on the outskirts of the charming Lancashire village of Earby in a location that is both accessible and rural. Set amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in England it attracts numerous visitors, many of whom return time and time again to seek out again the undoubted pleasures that the Punch Bowl has to offer.

“The Nuts” Texas Holdem tournament commences at noon on Saturday with 120 hopefuls including the host and landlord Martin Andrew, who said "We will have poker players representing pubs and clubs from all over the North West competing for the coveted trophy and a place at the 2009 National Finals,"
