TexasHoldEm.com Year in Review
Hello Members, and Welcome to 2016!
This past year was big for us, and we wanted to take this opportunity to recap, reminisce and look forward to what the next 12 months have in store! To start off, here are your top players of 2015 in a number of new categories.
Congratulations to all of our outstanding players!
There’s no denying that this year was huge for us in a number of ways. Here are a few of the biggest highlights from 2015.
Perhaps our biggest accomplishment this year was launching our proprietary Desktop Client, allowing players to more easily multi-table, multitask and to get the most out of their poker experience.
Along the theme of development, Sit-n-Spins were introduced this past fall and proved to be a great success. We’ve had immeasurable positive feedback regarding our three-player Sit n Go’s with a mystery prize, and we hope to continue to capitalize and expand on this concept in the coming months.
TexasHoldEm welcomed several new members to the team this year, including game developers Alejandro, Chris and Zach, as well as our new graphic designer Joel. The team has meshed better than any of us could have expected, and we’re all grateful to have such a talented and dedicated set of employees.
Pocket Fives League
In May we launched our first League Tournament Series in partnership with PocketFives.com. We’re happy to report that the series was almost instantly a smashing success, and that it helped to bring a new batch of talented and engaged players into our pool. Look for an expanded league tournament schedule, coming in 2016.
This past year we saw some of our largest tournaments and largest cashes ever, but nothing quite compares to our November $11,111 tournament, the largest tournament not only on our site but also in subscription poker history! Congratulations to our big winner HUCLUBBEN and to all those who participated in this historic event.
Again, we’d like to thank you sincerely for being part of this journey with us. We know there have been some rough patches, stops and starts, and setbacks along the way, but know that we are in this for the long haul. We hope to see continued and sustained growth this coming year, and to bring you the best poker experience the web has to offer.
